Red Bulls International Strategy

The brand's marketing message "Red Bull gives you wings" can be seen amongst multiple marketing channels. This company has a powerful presence internationally. They took advantage of the ability to gain access to new customers, achieve lower cost and enhance the firm's competitiveness and gain access to resources and capabilities in foreign markets. 

The Red Bull flavoring is still produced in Bangkok and exported into manufacturing plants internationally. Red Bull's founder was the first to introduce energy drinks to the west by adjusting the taste. Red Bull also associated itself with many extreme sports teams and events to promote and reinforce their brands image. 

 Red Bull has also turned to Media to help with launches and accessibility to the products. Red Bull has also use student markets on many college campuses across the world. At student events, you can find cars with Red Bull cans on top that promotes the name and representatives giving out free samples. Red Bulls "Wing Team" is the face of there company across the world. This team is all girls and mission driven. Each day they have set goals and milestones that must be achieved in various zones.  Even though Red Bull is a local company they tend to think and act globally which has been shown through their many events that is hosted around the world in places like Africa, Germany, and New Zealand. Red Bull tends to use the same competitive strategy and many of the country markets. In recent years' energy drinks consumption has grown which is given Red Bulls Market Andy's and Rapid expansion.

  2. Love this post, especially as a marketing major and someone who had an offer to be a Wings Team member. They are very strategic when it comes to their marketing and expect a lot out of their Wings Team because they are the face of the brand and most of the time are the ones planning where that recognizable car is going. It's interesting that you mentioned the taste was adjusted before energy drinks were introduced because that was something I did not know.

Redbull indeed has a strong marketing strategy, since I started college back in 2013 I have always seen the redbull cars around our campus as well as throughout the city when traveling. I love how they use a street team that actually engages with consumers to get their products out more. Redbull has done a great job at grabbing attention and keeping it especially with their commercials.

  4. Really good article. I have tried Red Bull myself and personally wasn't a fan of the actual drunk but definitely has a catchy look and really cool commercials. Those actually are what enticed me to try the brand in the first place!

  5. This article gave me a lot of new insight about Red Bull. I am usually against all energy drinks due to the effects after they wear off but Red Bull's advertising is very intriguing and almost makes me want to try the drink. They have indeed mastered their marketing strategies when it comes to commercials.

  10. I like this blog post because it brings to attention red bull as a local but also global company. Their able to have a strong local image and a strong global brand image which is very rare. It all stems from their excellent marketing which is discussed in the post and visible in the youtube video above.

  12. Red Bull has defiantly taken a great marketing approach, it's like they go out and get their customers as well as interact with them. They don't only reach college students they always go into peoples jobs because they have came into mine a few times. I love this blog as well as Redbull.

  14. Red Bull's marketing strategy is a very good one. I'm sure many people have come in contact with a wing team before because I know I have, right on the prominot. They are very personal and enthusiastic about their job. The energy drink market has grown and since Red Bull has been thinking globally their increasing sales world wide.   15. I love Red Bull's marketing campaigns. Not only do they have funny commercials but they also have an enthusiastic street team. There use of successful marketing strategies has positioned themselves to be one of the leading brands in the energy drink industry.
